The game bug inside me led to my search for a golf app in iTunes in my iPhone.I came across an app called 'Aquimo Pin high'.
Upon researching Aquimo I found out that at present this app is available on iPhone coming on Android soon.

I
never thought that a phone can be used to play golf in real life.

You actually swing
the phone and can see the ball fly on the phone and in high-definition on
any web page, which is easily projected on a TV, for example. The
graphics are spectacular, you don’t need a $500 game console, and it’s
quick and convenient to play – Pin High takes about 15 minutes to play 9
holes. Their product puts the equivalent of a $30,000 golf simulator in
the hands of anyone who has a mobile phone and a web page. You can play
solo or connect with friends worldwide.
Aquimo
Pin High is modeled after Angry Birds, where players have
three chances to toss birds and beat the pesky pigs. In Pin High users
have three shots to get closest to the pin. Shoot a bogie and unlock the
next level. The score card tracks your best score on each hole.
Tournament mode enables you to play against others and compete for prizes,
where, of course, closest to the pin wins.
It’s amazingly
simple to setup: (1) Just download the app from Aquimo
Pin High, 2) fire up the App and tap aiCONNECT to create an account. You will get an
email and touching the link in the email activates the account. (3) Open a
web page and go to play.aquimo.com – log in with your account ID and
your phone becomes a remote control for the web page, and you can
take swings and play the first game, Aquimo
Pin High.
Touch
the golf club bag to select a club: you get a wedge, 7 irons and 3 woods
for free, and 10 free points to purchase an additional club. Players win
points for pars and birdies in the game, and can buy points in the virtual
Pro Shop (99 cents for 10 points). The first release is a single player
game of nine holes. Expect additional packs of nine holes in the next
several weeks. The true multi-player game is coming soon, so that friends
can be anywhere and play together. Aquimo also has a full golf course
simulator in the works, which will include putting and chipping.
The phone is perfect for making
practice swing. Think of phone as holding a club in the palm of your hand. You
then get to shape shots exactly as you would in real golf swing. The real time
feedback is commendable. It is very addictive.AMAZING!
Very interesting.thank ui for such detailed snd lucid description.
